My dream has come true after getting my study permit approved to pursue a Master in Computer Science at Algoma University in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. I have now landed in Canada and am ready to start my program in January 2026. My journey was not easy, and it would never have been possible without the incredible help of my RCIC, Mr. Abdullah Al Mashud. He helped me so much that I cannot thank him properly; anything I say in his praise may fall short of what he truly deserves. Alhamdulillah for everything that has happened over the last few months. It was a difficult process to explain, and many might not have fully understood the struggle. But yes, by the grace of Allah, I have finally succeeded and reached my dream destination: Canada! The weather here is truly freezing, with temperatures around –6°C on average. Today, December 25th—Christmas Day—it is sunny but a chilly –11°C. Let me share how I got here. The application required gathering many documents: first, the IELTS exam, and then completing my Bachelor’s in IT. I had only six months between these tasks, which was very challenging. After some setbacks, I finally achieved the required 6.5 band score—the minimum for my application. I then pursued my Master of Computer Science (MCS) application at Algoma University. My consultant guided me throughout the entire process and helped me manage all legal documents seamlessly—including my Statement of Purpose (SOP), resume, visa request letter, submission letter, and all drafts related to my financial documents. Alhamdulillah for Allah’s blessings. A special thanks to my RCIC, Mashud. All my love to my mother, Nasrin Akter, who supported me emotionally and motivated me through the hardest times. I love you too, Dad, but Mom comes first here. Thank you, Father Farid Ahmed, for your financial support. I am on my own now, Dad—please wish me luck. That’s all for now. Until another day.
