We paid a huge amount for their services, expecting professional guidance with our immigration matters. Unfortunately, our documents were not handled properly and everything seemed disorganized and poorly managed. Due to the mistakes in our application process, my Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) was refused, causing immense stress, uncertainty, and significant personal and professional consequences. During this period, I also lost my job, which made the situation even more difficult for us financially and emotionally. After the refusal, we were charged another substantial amount for a reconsideration request to IRCC. The entire experience was again frustrating and disappointing. We repeatedly had to follow up, and it often felt like progress only happened after additional payments were made. What hurt the most was the lack of empathy and accountability. As international students, our immigration status, careers, and future depend heavily on these applications. To us, this is not just paperwork—it determines our lives and opportunities. We requested a refund because of our experience, but it was denied, and the communication afterwards became rude and dismissive. My experience with Harmandeep, who runs the business, left me feeling that clients are treated warmly until payment is received, but once the money is paid, the level of support and professionalism changes significantly. Based on my personal experience, I would not recommend this consultancy. I strongly encourage anyone considering their services to thoroughly research their options and ensure they fully understand what services are being provided before making such a significant financial commitment.

Refund Request. First time see in Canada this type of consultancy, I was started work with STAR Immigration Consultancy Inc Brampton for LMIA and work permit services and paid a retainer of $1,695 by e-transfer. My file was handled by Mandeep Pannu. The first payment was taken in November. However, after more than three months, no LMIA application had been submitted and I did not receive clear updates about the progress of my file. In February I was asked to make a second payment even though the LMIA had not yet been submitted. I explained that I would make the second payment once the LMIA application was actually filed. Because my immigration status timeline is limited and the process had already been delayed, I informed the consultancy that I did not want to continue with the process and requested an itemized invoice and refund of the unused retainer according to our agreement. Now they don’t want to talk about my payment which I already paid without getting anything from. Them. I have contacted them multiple times by phone and also sent emails to their office requesting a response, but I have not received any reply so far. I hope the company reviews my case and resolves this matter professionally. It’s been more than one months no update about my refund.They keep money & now silenced.
