My experience at this school was very disappointing. As an international student, I pay much higher tuition fees, yet I often felt that international students were treated with little respect or consideration. Some instructors were unnecessarily harsh and showed little understanding of students’ personal situations. I was also concerned by the way international students seemed to be monitored more closely by campus security. Overall, I did not feel supported or valued as an international student, and I would not recommend this school to others looking for a welcoming learning environment.

Good education quality but can leave something to be desired in a few areas. Staff are generally pretty caring and good at what they do, but some aspects of the school's management seem not very ideal. LGBTQ support can be hit and miss, you can tell they're trying but it's not always adequate.

I would urge anybody who is considering Algonquin College as a place for a post-secondary education to look elsewhere. I understand many faults are program dependent, but there is a real issue in quality of teaching material and teachers. To put it plainly, Algonquin just cannot cultivate the talent needed to educate the workforce that is required. Leadership is in over their heads, and does not have the competence needed to steward the College in a favourable position. Many teachers have not been in the industry for years and lack an up to date understanding of what is important. You will pay ~$4,000/semester, and will learn nothing from it, or at most out dated information. I am currently a student who is about to graduate this year. Candidly, I regret going to Algonquin and again urge anybody to look at online programs for less cost. The college does not care about you, only what you have in your wallet. *Also note the program cuts. Huge reliance on international students and you can see how this has affected them. Algonquin's quality has severely gone down over the last 5+ years.

I strongly recommend Algonquin College! I studied the AEP (English Language for Academic Purposes) program there in 2014 and later graduated from the Interactive Multimedia Management program in 2016. My experience was amazing, the campus, the teachers, and the overall environment were excellent. The professors were supportive and professional, and I learned so much during my time there. I also met wonderful friends there who are still my friends today, and I consider them like family. ❤️ I have very beautiful memories of this college, and I’m very grateful for all the opportunities and knowledge I gained there. 😊

Highly recommended! Algonquin College is an amazing place to learn! The campus is beautiful and very clean, making it a great environment for studying. The staff are incredibly friendly and always ready to help, which makes the college feel welcoming and supportive. I really love the positive energy around here!
