I know there is probably more people that have good reviews than those with bad reviews however it's probably because of international students who are just thankful to be here to get an education because in my experience NAIT is not an institute to be trusted with educating anyone. They do not care about students from anymore of a stand point than the money they have to pay to go there. They do not think that any of their teachers can do any wrong and some of them shouldn't even be allowed to teach to begin with but they don't care. They don't have any kind of organization what so ever so they will confirm your enrollment with your financial aid provider then an within 24 hours drop you from the class they've just spent a week preparing you to start in a couple days. Then they put on your record that you were the one who requested to drop and that it wasn't them who did it until you actually inquire then they see in the file that only NAIT sees that the class was dropped from non payment despite them knowing that finicial aid was getting disbursed in a couple days and would be well before the 30day deadline from registration. So when any other institution or financial aid looks at the student record going forward it will state that the class was dropped by the student even though that is not the case at all the school just has zero organization of any kind and no care that their mistakes literally effect their students future and that they are supposed to be a trusted school for ensuring success for those who choose to attend and choose them for their education. In my opinion they can't be trusted and you should choose a school that actually takes the time to care about their students who literally go into a life time of debt just to attend. Go to a different school this one is overrated and not worth your money. I'd give it negative stars if I could.

Unhappy with the amount of stress I was put under for delay in funding approval due to this schools mishandling of documents. They will threaten to cancel your classes for the delay in funding with no care as to how this affects you, the funding would ultimately be cancelled if NAIT actually did cancel my courses and because of the long wait to get back on regular income supports I would have been homeless. Some of the teachers are the only reason I was able to attend classes and not end up hospitalized. My learning advisor also retired midway through my semester and my final exams were scheduled the same day despite me having accommodations for my disability. Because of all the sudden changes NAIT told me my only course of action for one exam is to attend in person so it could be invigilated despite the fact that I had double time to do my first exam and it would eat into the time I had for my second exam. Poorly managed, inept student services and completely mishandled accommodations for disabilities. I can't recommend this school and have been telling friends who also have disabilities to go elsewhere.

Very disappointed in my experience with NAIT. Not sure if it was because it was a continuing education program through brightspace or if it was just NAIT. I took the CCC program and the information that was given was limited, the resources offered by NAIT were a joke/non-existent, the book store didn't even have the textbook that was required for the last class. I still do not know what my final grade was for the last class even though its been 2 weeks since we finished. The ability to contact a professor was so complicated and ineffective. I expected to actually learn form a person in some way, shape or form but instead I read and learned 100% solo with no lessons form a professor. No lectures, no videos other than teams calls to go over one assignment. I was looking forward to learning and interacting with other chefs in this program but the interactions were forced and pointless. The exams for the end of the course are all scheduled for Fridays, how is that relative to the industry when Friday's are the biggest days in sales for restaurants. This whole course was supposed to be designed for working chefs but was more set up like a regular full time program. The areas that I was struggling in were mostly due to expectations not being communicated and the fact that all 4 classes had different layouts, teachers, expectations and requirements for submissions.

Increased tuition for programs, increased fees for unnecessary things. People here are loud and inconsiderate in the designated spaces where students are studying. Numerous teachers also don’t know how to teach properly. It’s a big college, it’s irritating to find your classes but people will help you. Don’t understand why they decided to put pool tables in areas where students are clearly studying. Also having to pay for parking is mind blowing considering the fees. It takes so long to get a response from the staff if you emailed the team. Other than those unresolved issues it’s a decent school. It’s deplorable how much the fees are to apply, cancel etc.

A very good place to get real training in whatever field of tour choice.
