Useless. My partner was in the middle of receiving PR from a work permit, and we have voice recording of an agent in this building telling her it would be okay to get back into Canada if we went on vacation. Now, she is being denied entry and we are in the process of preparing litigation. Absolutely shameful and useless agents, a disgrace to Canada. Incompetent to the highest degree, liars, and with no regard to Canadians livelihood or future. If any ircc agents are reading this, I hope you feel true, deep shame. From a born in Canada, Canadian citizen, our country would be better if you left it.

I’ve put in so much effort just to get into the top university, and now, after four months, my student visa still hasn’t been processed. Is anyone else going through this? It seriously feels like I’m being held back on purpose, school starts in September and at this rate, I might not even get to start my classes. This is ridiculous!"

I am extremely disappointed with the IRCC office in Hamilton due to the unreasonable and unexplained delays in processing my family’s application. Despite submitting all required documents on time and following all procedures, my case has been delayed for far too long without any valid reason or update. I have made multiple attempts to contact them for clarification, but the responses (if any) have been vague and unhelpful. This lack of efficiency and transparency has caused significant stress and hardship for my family. As an immigration office, IRCC should be more accountable and responsive to the people they serve. Unfortunately, this experience has been nothing but frustrating. I hope they improve their processing times and customer service to prevent others from going through the same unnecessary struggles. Would not recommend dealing with this office unless absolutely necessary.

Doors are locked down there. Spoke to some smug little peacock down there. Said I can't book an appointment unless they seem it necessary. My girlfriends I'd got lost a d they said to call them. I told them I did that and they said word for word to keep trying. Most useless people I've ever encountered in. There needs to be reform in the work practices of Canadian government institutions. Especially immigration. I will be putting forward some motions soon.

My attempts to connect with a live representative were repeatedly thwarted by an automated system that provided no relevant information. After navigating through this system, I was ultimately informed that no representatives were available to take my call, and the system abruptly disconnected the line, advising me to try again later. This experience was not only frustrating but also incredibly inefficient. I spent an entire day repeatedly calling back, only to be met with the same automated responses and lack of access to a real person. This situation is unacceptable, especially when considering the critical nature of the services provided by your department. The option to wait on hold, even if it were for an extended period, would have been preferable to the repetitive and unproductive cycle I experienced. It is disheartening to think that Canadian citizens are subjected to such a level of service when reaching out for assistance. I strongly urge your department to consider implementing a dedicated contact number for Canadian citizens, where our concerns and queries can be addressed promptly and effectively by a live representative. Furthermore, I intend to escalate this issue by contacting my member of Parliament and filing a formal complaint. It is imperative that our government departments uphold a standard of service that reflects the values and needs of our citizens. I hope that my feedback will be taken seriously and that swift action will be taken to improve the customer service experience. We, as Canadians, deserve a system that is accessible, responsive, and respectful of our time and needs.
