Langara College has a welcoming campus with a good learning environment and a wide range of programs. The facilities are well maintained, and the instructors I've encountered have been knowledgeable and supportive. It's conveniently located with good public transit access, making it easy to get to from different parts of the city. Overall, it's a solid choice for students looking for quality education in Vancouver.

Langara College is a fantastic place for higher education. The programs are well structured, the campus is welcoming, and the facilities are kept in excellent condition. The staff and instructors were approachable and always willing to help students succeed. I would definitely recommend this college.

Am currently attending for my pre requisite all the staffs and teachers are helpful. This is my first term. And hopefully it will go like this. The college is okay. The staffs don’t always help you or solve your issues even if there’s an unfair situation such as unfair grading, efficient emailing, and professionalism(not all the staffs). I had an unfair grading experience that happened 6 months ago for my psychology course, I had the evidences and the staffs helped me review the questions and answers. After the review, the psychology department stated me that it will benefit me and my grades. However, after weeks of no updates from their side, I had to email them and suddenly after I emailed them, they replied by saying there is nothing that can be done in this situation and the topic was closed there. Such unprofessionalism, unfairness, lies, and lack of ethics really disappointed my expectations and reputation for langara as langara often advertises morals, ethics and a proper sense of community. I also contacted the president and the dean but they couldn’t solve my issues by dismissing them and without proper investigation and fairness. With the grade issue, I really needed to level it up for the perquisites so that I can take other courses for my psychology course but now I am kind of stuck in this situation. I am planning to speak to lawyers about this case since they took so much time from me with no solutions and more inefficient and bizarre experiences. Also, some instructors or professors are kind of discriminating, dismissive, rude; specially with the international students. Some of them are also not so good in terms of teachings. Moreover; although there are clubs at college; generally, the student life feels dead due to lack of participations, activity or friendliness in the classes or overall.

As an international student, I strongly recommend avoiding Langara College unless you get every detail in writing first. I completed the Marketing Management Diploma, but I feel misled because Langara did not clearly disclose (before I applied or was accepted) that their internal English requirements can go beyond what many students assume is sufficient, even with strong IELTS results. For context: I entered with a very high English level (IELTS around C1). Despite that, Langara’s LET/internal English requirements still blocked my progression and forced me into a situation where I couldn’t take the courses I needed. That led to multiple consecutive part-time terms while trying to satisfy their English gatekeeping. For international students, this is not a minor issue, it can derail your immigration timeline and post-study plans. What makes this especially frustrating is that ENGL 1107, the English course Langara offers as a pathway, did not provide enough tools to reliably meet the specific requirement they enforce. It felt like paying extra time and money for a “solution” that doesn’t actually solve the problem. Bottom line: Langara should clearly warn international applicants upfront that (1) their English requirement may be stricter than expected even if you already have a high IELTS/C1 level, and (2) failing their internal pathway can lock you into part-time status for multiple terms and seriously impact immigration plans. I wasn’t told this before applying/being accepted. If I could choose again, I would choose a different institution.
