SAIT will always hold a special place in my heart. I absolutely loved my time creating and studying at SAIT. I graduated in 2017 with a diploma in Television and Video Production, and I owe everything in my career to the amazing RTBN instructors who taught me; Sally, Leen, Shane, and Beesly. I met a lot of really amazing and talented people in my program, some of whom I still work with in the video production industry. I'll always speak very highly of this post-secondary institution, and continuously recommend it.

Excellent stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. Amazing views and within walking distance of downtown. They also have very nice meeting rooms. Two notes: The beds are typical dorm beds. As there is no AC in the rooms, the room did get warm even when it was only 15c outside and there are no fans in the room. The windows do open.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this school.Communication from staff was often poor, and getting answers to important questions felt frustrating and time-consuming. Many services seemed disorganized, and students were left to figure things out on their own. The quality of instruction varied greatly between courses, and some classes felt unprepared or lacked proper support. Scheduling issues and administrative delays created unnecessary stress throughout the year. For the amount of tuition and fees charged, I expected a much higher level of professionalism and student support. Unfortunately, my experience did not meet those expectations. I would not recommend this college to students looking for a well-organized and supportive learning environment.

A beautiful inner city campus that seems under near-constant revitalization. First time visitors might wish to enjoy the campus’ hospitality amenities, such as its Five9’s Cafe or Highwood restaurant, where they train the hospitality connoisseurs of the future. The Butchery, a publicly available butchers market commonly available Thursday afternoons, is an absolute gem and features a well-earned long line of students, faculty, and just people looking for good meat. The SAIT campus is a boon to the local community and Calgary at large.

My experience with SAIT’s English Language Foundations (ELF) program was very disappointing. The teaching quality was weak, and much of the course content seemed to rely on simple YouTube videos rather than structured language instruction. The grading system also felt misleading, giving students an inflated sense of their English level. The online platform is extremely confusing and difficult to navigate, especially for international students who are still learning English. Another major concern is the way funding and payments are handled. Students are encouraged to start the program with the impression that financial support may be available, but after the withdrawal deadline passes, they are told funding is not possible and are expected to pay the full tuition. Due to serious pregnancy-related health issues, I attended only five days of classes. Despite explaining my situation and submitting documentation, I continued receiving emails demanding payment and warnings about collection agencies. SAIT has a large campus, but facilities do not equal quality education. I strongly recommend that prospective students research carefully before enrolling.
