I Was Cheated — Please Don’t Trust Raman & Varun: My Painful Story I’m writing this with a broken heart and tears in my eyes. I don’t want anyone else to go through what I suffered. There’s a woman named Raman, and a man named Varun, who was very close to my family. I trusted them like my own. I never thought they would betray me like this — but they did. They took advantage of my emotional weakness, knowing that I was missing my family badly and struggling with my immigration status in Canada. They convinced me that they could help me get an LMIA and legal status. They said everything would be done smoothly for $27,000 CAD and demanded $6,000 CAD in advance. I gave them the money with full trust. But the application got refused. I was shattered. I asked them to refund my money. I told them I just want to go back to India — that I had no more strength left. But they said it was non-refundable and offered another “option.” They said they could apply again for $43,000 CAD, including my husband’s LMIA too, and they would adjust the $6,000 I had already paid. I had no option left. I felt trapped. I agreed. After that, things got worse. They started demanding money again and again, pressuring me to pay faster, saying “if you want your work done, pay more.” I was under extreme mental stress, but they kept saying, “Trust us, we are family. Don’t worry. Don’t even read the documents — just sign.” I trusted them blindly. I paid a total of $17,000 CAD. But what they did next destroyed me — they filed another LMIA using a fake job offer letter, and I got another refusal. After this, they stopped answering my calls. I later found out they had made me sign a paper saying $10,000 is non-refundable, without even explaining it to me. I didn’t even know what I was signing. They trapped me and played with my innocence and emotions. I begged them, cried endlessly, and even told them that I had no option left in life and that I felt like dying. Only after so many breakdowns and mental torture, they returned $7,000 CAD to me. But even today, they have not returned the remaining $10,000 CAD. I trusted them. I treated Varun like a brother. But they used my pain to make money. They wasted my time, my peace of mind, and ruined my dreams. And now, because of them, I had to return to India, heartbroken, emotionally exhausted, and financially damaged. Please don’t trust these people. Raman and Varun are frauds. They cheat innocent people using fake promises and emotional manipulation. I’m sharing my story not for sympathy — but as a warning. Don’t become their next victim.
